Introduction

Outstock Subscriptions for Magento 2 by Magenest is an extension that allows customers receive email notifications about products which are changed in stock or price. This extension contains two main features are out of stock notifications and price alert notifications.

 Features For Admins

• Admin can view customers who subscribe and then admin can change the price or number of products.
• Admin can choose whether to allow guest can subscribe.

Features For Customers

• Customers can sign up to receive notification emails for each product.
• Customers can unsubscribe for products that they don't want to follow.

• Configuration

  In order to get your extension up and running properly, we highly recommend that you make some configurations right from the beginning.

  General Configuration 

  
  

• Firstly, from Backend of Magento 2 > Reports > Notifications Settings, this is the place where you define General Options, Price Subscription and Stock Subscription.
• Minimum Stock Quantity: admin can set up the minimum quantity of products, if the quantity of a product more than minimum stock quantity, this product will be in stock.
• Disable Subscribe For Guest (Yes/No):  admin can choose whether to allow guest can subscribe.

• Go to Store > Configuration > Catalog > Catalog > Product Alerts and then click on Use system value box of Price Alert Email Template and Stock Alert Email Template to use email template of the system.

Main Feature

Admin can view products which are subscribed to the number of subscribers, date of first subscription and date of the last subscription. Go to Reports > Out of Stock Notifications/ Price Alert Notifications button.

At Out of Stock Notifications/ Price Alert Notifications page, click on Product to set up information for your products.

At product page, admin can change the price, the quantity of product which is in subscription lists.

Usage Procedure

Customers easily sign up with the email to receive the alert email for products that they want to follow. Fill in the text area to subscribe for price alert or get notified when this product back in stock and click on Subscribe button.

Another way is to log into your account and click on Notify me when the price drops / Notify me when this product is in stock button.

 After login to the account, customers can view all subscriptions that they subscribe and they can unsubscribe products to stop receiving the email for this product.
