System Requirements

Here we will guide you through the installation process of our extension. First off, open FileZilla, log in to your host as follows:

In the above example we switched the local site to the extension directory, and the remote site to the code directory. Now on the remote site window, inside app/code directory, create a folder named Magenest and go inside it. Now on your local site window, right click on Wrapper extension and click Upload. The extension will be uploaded onto your host in a few minutes.

The second method will require you to compress the extension into .zip or .tar.gz format, then execute the following command in your Command Line/Terminal:

    scp <path to your extension> <ssh server>:<path to Magenest directory>

Then log into your ssh server, go to Magenest directory and execute the following command to decompress the module:

    unzip <.zip compressed extension> 

Or

    tar -xzvf <.tar.gz compressed extension>

Now go to your Magento root directory, say it's named magento2, and execute the following commands:

    sudo chmod -R 755 .

    php bin/magento setup:upgrade

    php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy

    sudo chmod -R 777 var pub

After running all these, your Command line/Terminal window might look like this:

Finally, you need to flush the cache by either type this into the Command Line/Terminal:

    php bin/magento cache:flush

Or go to System > Cache Management and click Flush Magento Cache

Now you can go to your store and check if the extension is working as expected.

Main Functions

• To create a Gift Card Product, admin need to navigate to Product > Catalog > Add Product > Gift Card. This is a new product type developed by Magenest to allow managers to easily create the Gift Card.

• After clicking on Gift Card, the New Product screen will be shown to allow admin to set information related the Gift Card product.
  
  

• In the Basic Settings tag,  choose Gift Card.
  
  

• Admin can set information related the Gift Card product, such as Gifcard price scheme, Gift card price selector, Expires After, Max Price, Min Price, Giftcard templates.

- Gifcard price scheme: Consist of 3 option to choose:

+ Fixed: Choosing this option if admin want to set a fixed price for the product.

+ Selected: Choosing this option if admin want to display a price list to choose for the customer.

+ Range: Choosing this option if admin want to display a price range that allows the customer to enter the price in the rangeGift card price selector: Allow admin set the price in accordance with the above option.

 - Expires After: Admin can set the expiration date of Gift Card products.

 - Max Price: The max price of the product.

 - Min Price: The min price of the product.

• Please press button Save to make sure the product saved.

• Admin can view available Templates an convenient way by navigating to Gift Card > Gift Card Template.
  
  

--> Click on Edit if you want to create any changes related for the Gift Card Template.

• To add new template, click on button Add New Template. Then the New Template screen will be shown.
  
  

• Admin can set any of template position through Design Style - our great feature.

• Admin can set easily main image by navigating to Main Imagine Uploads of Gift Card Template Configuration.

• Admin can set easily Background Image by navigating to Background Imagine Uploads of Gift Card Template Configuration.

• Gift Card codes play a important role for any of Gift Card products. It is necessary to mange this codes. Our product allows admin to view and manage easily by navigating to Gift Card > Gift Card Codes. The Gift Card Codes screen will be shown.

   

• Click on button Edit if you want to create any changes. The Edit Gift Card screen will be shown.
